SMM: How long have you been modeling?
Ashley: I have been modeling for a little over a year now. I actually
started modeling with the launch of my website.
SMM: What was a deciding factor for you to concentrate on your
modeling?
Ashley: Well I have always wanted
to be apart of the industry, and I
have always loved modeling. So
when the opportunity came my
way to start modeling for my website
I couldn't pass it up. Ever since then
I've been nothing but focused.
SMM: How do you feel about the area modeling scene?
Ashley: I honestly wish there was a little more exposure in Cleveland.
There are a lot of models from here but most don't get he recognition
they deserve because of the lack of exposure in Cleveland's modeling
game.
SMM: Do you feel there is any model unity?
Ashley: Yes, I feel there is unity between models.
Of course it could be better, but I think like
any other profession, there's always gonna
be problems or "beef" between certain people,
but for the most part we all got each others back.
SMM: What are some of the things you've accomplished in your career?
Ashley: I feel to be successful in this industry or any industry you gotta
learn the game. I've taken this year and learned a lot about the industry
and have came a long way in a short period of time. I accomplished
launching a successful website in less than a year. I also have had a lot
of magazine, video, and promo opportunities this past year as well.
SMM: Tell the world some of your goals in modeling?
Ashley: I definitely want to do a lot more shooting for more magazines,
probably do some music videos, stuff like that. Eventually, I want to
own my own business, probably a modeling agency.
SMM: Tell all the guy readers, What do you look for in a man?
Ashley: For one I like a man who is smart and about his business. I also
like a man to be funny, and confident. Not arrogant because there's a
big difference. He also needs to be talented. I have a weakness for a
man that can sing (good) to me, but whatever his hustle is he's just
gotta do him to the fullest.
SMM: Are you single?
Ashley: Yes, I'm currently dating someone but still single:)
SMM: What would you describe as a good first date with Ashley Moon?
Ashley: Well dinner is always a good start. That way you get a chance to
talk and get to know each other. Then something fun like a movie, a
game, have a drink.
SMM: Describe Yourself for our readers?
Ashley: First and foremost I am humble because I know it could all be
taken away just as fast as I was blessed with it. I am a determined
person and when I focus on a goal I don't stop until I accomplish it. Just
like ever other girl I love shopping, music, and SHOES! Love stillettoes:)
SMM: If someone wants to book Ashley Moon for a photo shoot, party
hosting, or promo model, How do they contact you?
Ashley: I can be contact for business inquiries only at :
Ashley@AshleyMoon.com
SMM: Any last words or Shout outs for our readers?
Ashley: Thank you to everyone that has been supporting me, I love the
haters too:) Be sure to check out my Myspace at
Myspace.com/MzAshleyMoon

Cy Harp Interview
SMM: How long have you been doing music ?
Cy Harp: Aww man, i believe it started when i heard my older brother
rapping. I was trying to be like him. I seen him writing, so i was writing.
i was about 7 years old.
SMM: What makes you the the Most Relatable?
Cy Harp: The fact that i speak about things actually happening and
lifetime experiences i know majority of guys or girls have went through.
Ill speak about being broke, majority of ppl are broke. Ill speak about a
time when i got done real quick sexually with a girl lol. I know a lot of
guys had that happen whether they will admit it or not.
SMM: Whats your goal in the music Industry?
Cy Harp: My goal is to make people realize doing good things arent bad.
i know that sounds stupid, but take the TI incident for example... He
had to go through something negative just to show people in a TV show
that its cool to give back to community. I believe people should
broadcast that anyways, the only backlash is people saying that your not
doing it from the heart since your telling people. If thats the only
backlash i get, i can take that because i know i am. Being sucessful in
the industry is the goal because the bigger i am, the more i will be able
to drive home the point.
SMM: In the Industry right now, who are you most compariable to?
Cy Harp: NOBODY... Im sorry to say that, because i know thats how fans
maybe able to check you according to who they like. But honestly i dont
feel like its anyone. If you do feel as if i sound like someone after
reading this interview and checking out my music, please let me know
SMM: Who are you Top 5 Artist of All Time?
Cy Harp: It would have to be Tupac, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, early
Jay-Z (ending at blueprint) and my brother!
SMM: Name one thing you love about the music game and one thing that
you hate about the music game!!
Cy Harp: One thing i love about the music game is being able to share
your experiences with the world. You can learn alot through someone
elses story, especially if they were honest about the situation.
One thing i hate about the music game is the fact that alot of artist talk
alot of pros and no cons. Everybody's selling drugs, then its a display
with a fancy car alot of money jewels and girls (which is cool). But you
dont often hear he con side of actually getting caught, or being
paranoid when you riding with some dope in your car. Not being able to
sleep, and possibly being able to die at any second. All pros no cons isnt
good on any level. Its like telling someone how good sex is all the time
without mentioning a std. then when that person get the std that you
were preaching how good sex is too, your nowhere to be found. i hate
that!
SMM: What do you want to leave the game with, when its all said and
done?
Cy Harp: I want to leave the game with a great sense of
accomplishment. Being able to motivate people in the right way. Im not
going to tell an individual what not to do, but tell someone whats going
to happen when you do it. People feeling as if i affected there life in a
positive way would be enough for me.
SMM: With 2009 well under way, what are your Top 5 momments so far?
Cy Harp: Performing in Vegas, South Beach, & New York. Consider that
one. Watching my little brother in the 9th grade dunk for the first time,
i thought that was funny. Hanging out with my other brother who is
here right now before he leaves for Turkey 2 years(ARMY). Just to let
yall know i have 8 brothers. Heard some kids arguing over the fact if im
Cy-Harp or not, after i said i was they asked for a autograph lol. Last but
not least recording some great records.
SMM: What is the inspiration behind the new single " What Up"?
Cy Harp: It just clicked honestly with the beat. I knew i had to make a
mainstream type of hook, what better than a greeting? Then i felt i can
put lyrics with meaning on it to make it really universal.
SMM: Any Last minute shout outs?
Cy Harp: Shout out to all my family, All Honesty, ITW, Brook D,
C.H.A.D... and everybody that supports me!
SMM: if people would like to book you for a show or feature, Whats your
contact?
Cy Harp: Myspace.com/cyharp... Twitter.com/cyharp...
cyharp@gmail.com... (330) 780-1351

SMM: How many people are officially in your group?
GH: Gotta Husle is an entertainment company. it is comprised of several
talented solo artist, that collectivly form the super group Gotta Husle.
officially there are 7 artists, along with their manager and many close
supporters that make up the GH family.
SMM: How did all of you become a group?
GH: All the artist in GH were doing their own solo thing or were in a
group prior to CEO Ralph Riddla, forming Gotta Husle. the artist just
sort of came together over time to create the quality music that GH is
now known for.
SMM: Coming from Youngstown OH, what's the music scene like in
the Y-O?
GH: when we started the music scene was almost non-existant. there
werent many venues to perform at and there wasnt a local radio staion
to outlet our music. it was a good thing though because it caused us to
go out of town to perform which gave us more exposure. now the music
scene has grown tremendously. there is now a local radio station, and
many many artist doing music now, along with several venues that will
let artist showcase their talent. we also have had, and continue to have
many different major artist coming to the city to throw concerts.
without saying why.. the music scene has drastically grown since
GH stepped on the scene.
SMM: How did it make the group feel to get rewarded for there
hardwork in the 2008 Ohio Hip Hop Awards?
GH: it was a great feeling of accomplishment to win our first ohio
hip hop award. to know that people recognize and appreciate your
work is a good thing. being nominated for 6 awards was a huge deal.
we only took home one, but it was a big one to us. Being the peoples
choice award winners spoke volumes to us because it showed us
directly that the people were feeling our sound. it was a great
opportunity and we look forward to next years awards ceremony
and taking home many more awards.
SMM: What direction did the group take in making the new album?
GH: we wanted to keep giving the people that top quality music that we
are known for. that hardcore real life music. (reality rap). we also
wanted to get this album out to a larger audience than just ohio. the
album is available to the masses online physically and digitally.
we have always felt that the more people that hear GH. the more
fans we would have. its not a hobby, its a passion and a business to us.
SMM: What are some of the standout songs from the new Cd?
GH: this is a fantastic album with several hits and singles. it is a project
you can put on and play all the way through. our lead single is called
Money Talks. but trust that there are several bangers on the album
including "yea i gotta grind, workin hard, gettin mine, and the peoples
choice award winning hit swag check. this is truly a thorough front to back
album!!
SMM:How can people get in contact with GH ?
GH: the most simple way to get at us is to Google Gotta Husle, that will
lead you to anywhere you want to go dealing with GH. of course you can
check out our music or contact us on the myspace. go to

Ashley Moon Interview
With the Summer slowly coming upon us, there seems to be change in
the modeling scenes, its been very easy to see some of Ohio's Finest on
Television, Videos, Magazines, & on national websites. Each year there
seems to be a diamond in rough and a newcomer to the modeling scene.
I would like to introduce one of the newcomers, so let's take a minute
and get to know miss Ashley Moon.
Quincy Taylor
QP Interview
With a heavy online presence and skills to match its a wonder why more
people are not familiar with a artist by the name of QP. With label
rumors swirling around the industry as one of the next big artist to blow
from the internet. Let's take some time to get to know the Ordinary
Guy QP.
Quincy Taylor

SMM: When did you start rapping?
QP: I started rapping back in1996, just spitting lyrics with people in the
neighborhood. As the years went by I became more focused and have
progressed to working on a more professional level.
SMM: How did you first get started in the music business?
QP: I started out by networking, and trying to get my music out to
anyone that would listen. I’d always be asking for feedback and making
sure to get contact info from a lot of people I came across so I could
stay connected with them as my catalog expanded. I started receiving a
lot of positive feedback from DJs, promoters and other influential
people and that began to open a lot of doors for me. Eventually I caught
the ear of Tony "X" Franklin with NuBlud Management. He saw a lot of
potential in me and brought on board with his camp and that’s when
things really began picking up for me as a professional musician.
SMM: I first became aware of you from a Mz Skittlez song, How did that
come about?
QP: As I developed more connections in the area, I met a guy be the
name of Latif Hughes, who had liked what he heard on some of my
other tracks and wanted to do some work together. I linked up with my
man Styles and together; we started to write and produce some stuff.
One of these tracks was a real high-energy, club banger that I wrote
which became “Nigga What”. I thought Mz.Skittlez would be perfect for
the record and shipped it over to Latif. He agreed, booked the studio
time and flooded the streets with it. To this day, people still remember
for that record, so it was definitely a great experience.
SMM: How do you feel about the current state of the music industry?
QP: I think the state of the game is getting better than where it’s been
at for a while. Artists seem to be making real hip-hop music again rather
just constantly following fads. I like the artists like Kid Cudi, Drake, Wale
and a lot of others who are getting back to the fun days when the music
was about telling a story and you could make conscious records without
them being too serious.
SMM: You have a great internet presence, what are some of the things
you have coming for 2009?
QP: I'm working on my debut album "Born 2 Win" I'm hoping to have that
drop this year. I’ve got a few singles ready to hit the airwaves, plus
some freestyles with me rapping over industry beats for the web,
mixtapes and just to keep my buzz going strong. I try to continuously
make new music and make sure that I’m feeding the fans I’ve gained
online as much new content as possible.
SMM: Who are some of the artist from Ohio you listen to?
QP: First off, I love my girls D.O.C Show Stoppas. Their grind is amazing
and really inspires me. I bump Kid Cudi a lot. I’m feeling a lot of the stuff
I hear from other Cleveland artists like Chip tha Ripper, Cali Miles, Young
Ray, Al Fatz, my big homie Proph tha Problem. I’m also bumping Cross
from Cincinnati, Kadijha, Chevy Blue. Nessa, of course Mz.Skittles. O.M.
N Street Gang, Galaxy Shooting Stars. I could go on for days. I try to stay
up with artists from cities all over Ohio and hope we’re all able to bring
the area some much needed exposure.
SMM: What are your top 5 songs of all time?
QP:
1. Notorious B.I.G. – Juicy
2. 2Pac- Dear Mama
3. Snoop Dogg- What’s My Name
4. Cam’ron – Oh Boy
5. N.W.A. – Dope Man
SMM: I Seen a video early this year for
Ordinary Guy, how did the animation
concept come about?
QP:That was done by the team at
Element 9 team that handles all my web
stuff. Stu Pflaum a/k/a DJ Xplosive came up
with the idea for the video and put it all together. I was feeling the
concept and thought that it was a cool way to add a visual element to
the track, so we ran with it. I definitely love the way it came out!
People have sent me a lot of great feedback and seem to really enjoy
watching the animation.
SMM: I hear rumors your with Fontana, Aslyum, That your still indie,
what's your current situation for our fans?
QP: Right now I’m truly happy to be a free agent. It’s flattering that
there’s been labels reaching out to me and I hope to secure something
when the time is right. Right now I’m just focusing on building my buzz
and making sure that when the time is right to ink a deal with a major
label, it’s going to be something that will ensure I’m able to bring the
spotlight to Cleveland in a way that the City deserves.
SMM: What are some of the projects you have coming for 2009?
QP: I’m planning on dropping a mixtape called “Scream QP!” that we’re
looking to do a digital release with. I definitely want to do some more
videos, keep the freestyles coming and collaborate with some local
talent in the area. My biggest project if going to be the “Born 2 Win”
album that has been in the works for a while and when it drops I think
fans are really going to understand what I’m able to do as an artist. It’s
definitely looking to be a great year for me!
SMM: If anyone wants to book you for a show or host an event how do
they do so?
QP: The easiest way to make it happen is to send an email to my
management office at: info@nubludmanagement.com or call my booking
office at 646-912-8622.
SMM: Any Last words or shout outs?
QP: I’ve got to shout out The Super Producer Mauly T. I don’t know
where I would be without his guidance and expertise. My management
"X" at NuBlud, Element 9, DJ Xplosive, Megabyte, Deep 3, Paul Wall, Tum
Tum, Quincy Taylor and In the Way Marketing, Ron Spaulding, and
everybody that's helping me along my journey. Shouts out to y'all! Thank
you for taking the time to show me some love and I hope everyone
knows I truly appreciate it!

Nick Zuber Interview
With 2 albums under his belt Nick Zuber is taking over the music
industry with the next generation of college music. Recently taking 3rd
place in the Fox 8 hot list for best bands in Cleveland and wrapping up a
month long tour with Howie Day, Nick looks to accomplish his next goal.
Johnny Mixxxx

SMM: Where did your name come from and how do you officially
pronounce it?
3.R.D.: Our name, The 3rd, represents your God conscious, The 3rd Eye.
The name came from the crew wanting to approach this music from a
higher level. You can pronounce it The Third, or Three-Are-Dee.
SMM: What's the music scene like in Columbus?
3.R.D. : The music scene in Columbus, Ohio is very diverse. There are a
lot of rock & alternative bands, poets, and a whole gang of hip-hop
groups. There is no one style of music that is popular in the capital city.
We are the very definition of Hip-Hop, a melting pot of cultures. A lot of
people think that we are all gangsta rappers in Ohio, but there’s a wide
range of talent. From battle-rappers, to very intricate songwriters, our
art truly represents what it’s like to live here in Columbus.
SMM: We got turned on to you by a song called "Let The Beat Go", what
inspired that song?
3.R.D.: 'Let the Beat Go' was inspired by that beat! The song was
produced by Rashad aka Shaddy Tee. P.A. Flex and Shaddy were in the
Sugar Shack recording and as Shaddy worked on the beat, P.A. wrote
the 1st verse and the hook soon after. Sometimes you gotta give props
to the music, and not over think what the hook should be. That's how
the joint came about. Sh8ks came in and laid the second verse and the
rest is history. DJ's need this one in their arsenal!
SMM: With Hip Hop making a strong comeback, what are your top 5 hip
hop groups of all time?
3.R.D.: Top Five Hip-Hop groups(in no particular order) N.W.A., A Tribe
Called Quest, OutKast, Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots.
SMM: Blast from the Past, What was the feeling like the first time you
ever performed?
3.R.D.: For those that don’t know, The 3rd is Shaddy Tee, P.A. Flex, Co
City, Sh8ks & Blaksmif. When we first blessed the stage together, it felt
natural. It felt like the perfect group to elevate music. This ain't no
making the band group here!!
SMM: What's the biggest show you have done? And Where?
3.R.D.: The biggest show we've ever done was May 16th 2009 in Athens,
Ohio at 6Fest(Ohio University). It was said that there were 14,000 plus
in attendance. Shout out to all the students that showed us love down
there. It was completely out of control!! Just imagine thousands of
students, alcohol, and back-to-back performances of groups from all
throughout Ohio. A very interesting experience, we'll leave it at that.
SMM: What are some of the things you have coming up?
Where?
3.R.D.: Elevator Music Ink will throw our annual "Summer Jam" on June
19th at Skullys Music Diner, In Columbus Ohio. The 3rd will perform along
with some special guests. We have two albums we will release this year:
'1979 The Ultrasounds', and '1979.' 'Escalade' is the first single and is
doing very well at the moment, The Video coming very soon. We always
are in the studio making new music and we will be leaking a gang of
records over the summer.
SMM: Tell Me who handles your production? And some of the producers
you want to work with?
3.R.D.: Rashad aka Shaddy Tee handles the bulk of our production.
Nicotine is also a producer under the Elevator Music umbrella. As far as
who we want to work with, we want to be around greatness. We'd love
to rock over some long lost J.Dilla beats, and Dr. Dre to name a couple.
Those are two that really have a distinct sound.
SMM: How do 3.R.D. Feel about the current auto-tune state of hip hop
music?
3.R.D.: Autotune now is more of a fad than anything. If you know how
to use it, it's great, but nowadays. cats are just following whats familiar
to the listener. We're more concerned with what you say more than
how you say it.
SMM: With Drake,Kid Cudi, Asher Roth, Cory Gunz leading a new tear of
hip hop artist, do you feel Hip Hop has a new Golden Era?
3.R.D.: There is a new Golden Era of Hip-Hop on the horizon, and we
want to be a part of it. There are a lot of true artists coming up and this
could be a classic era as long as artists PUT THE ART 1ST.
SMM: What do you think is needed to take Ohio Music to the next Level?
3.R.D.: The main thing Ohio needs now is unity!! We need to stop
acting like there is a limited amount of space in this game. There's
enough room for all of us. Look at southern artists. They really look out
for one another. Ohio has a lot of different styles of urban music. As
long as we respect what others bring to the table, it will be easier to
elevate as one movement.

Elevator Music ink Interview
With the summer fastly approaching, there is always two things we are
sure to get, New Music and New Fashion Trends from the entertainment
industry. The music seems to be getting better with some of Hip Hop's
greatest artist releasing projects in 2009, there is also a new movement
from a great class of mc's coming from a college hipster movement. So
let's introduce a new movement coming from the Columbus area called
"Elevator Music ink", and see what the State Capital of Ohio is up too:
Quincy Taylor

Phabulous Interview
After watching someone from Cleveland Ohio appear on BET's Rip The
Runway and Someone from Cleve...
Lady Phab: I joined B.A.D. Girls, CEO Marica Linn aka Beautiful, and
needed a nickname. At first, I had all types of nicknames thrown at me,
such as Caramel, Lil Bit, ect, but nothing seemed to fit. However, I
always use the word, "Fabulous." So, a photographer had suggested
that be my nickname. I immediately loved it, and began putting it on
myspace. However, with Fabolous, the rapper, already being
established, it made me look like I had a crush on him, because I put,
Ms. Fabulous, even though the spelling was different. So, a friend of
mine suggested I use, "Phabulous" in reference to, "Pretty Hot and
Beautiful." The "Lady" came when I was asked to introduce Nate
Simpson, an R&B artist, at a concert at the Rock and Roll Hall of fame.
They had me on the program as, "Lady Phab," because as Nate always
said, "You're such a lady!"
SMM: How long have you been modeling?
Lady Phab: Well, I've been involved in a few projects for maybe 4 years
or so, however I've been seriously pursuing this for about two years. I
like putting my best foot forward for every project that I put my mind
to, and this is no exception.
SMM: What are some of your goals in the Modeling industry?
Lady Phab: I would love to be a VJ, for MTV, TVOne, or BET. I enjoy
being a personality, and would love to have my own talk show. And of
course, I absolutely love hosting, and being the life of the party!!!!!
SMM: For all of our guy readers, What does Lady Phab look for in a Man?
Lady Phab: Hahaha..... Oh, that's easy. I love a 6'1'' man and above,
who's very muscular and athletic, great smile, and laid back. It tends to
work well with my crazy personality. He also has to be goal oriented,
and confident in himself, as I am the same. It makes for a smoother
relationship, less drama that way. An extra plus would be if he could
sing...... Lord knows, I LOVE a man who can sing!
SMM: Describe the perfect first date for Lady Phab?
Lady Phab: I'm impressed more so by effort, than by money. So, a guy
that would take time to suprise me, and pick out certain things he
knows that I like, ect, would be awesome. I'm not really a movie person,
unless its at home, cause I have a short atttention span. But it would be
nice to find an adventurous man, that is ready to push the limits, go
skydiving, rock clibing, ect. You know, just ready to try different things!
SMM: Who are your top 5 Celebrity Crushes?
Lady Phab: I have a top 3 line-up actually. Marques Houston, Keston
Karter, and Channing Tatum! Delicious men!!! lol.
SMM: I also see your an event host, what was your favorite and worst
event?
Lady Phab: My favorite would definately be the Music Seminar
Perfomance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, November 1, 2008. And
worst event, hmmm, I guess it would be events where people didn't
come to party, they just came to sit, which is VERY odd to me, and it
makes my job a bit tough.
SMM: What's the most bizarre thing that ever happened at an event?
Lady Phab: I would have to say, the OHHA Showcase in Cincinnatti, Oh,
2008. A few of the r&b acts that were there, began singing to me,
hosted by Majestic. It wasn't quite bizarre, but it was definately fun!
And you know what I said before, I love a man who can sing!
SMM: What do you think of the recent leaks of celebrity nude pictures?
Lady Phab: Whew, I feel quite sympathetic for each of the women who
were put out to the public like that. I don't think its right that they be
exploited in that manner. And, it just goes to say, you can't trust
anyone, and its best to just make sure explicit pictures, don't get taken
period! If you want to see it, you have to enjoy it in person!
SMM: What are your goals within the next 5 years?
Lady Phab: The next 5 years, I will be continuing through undergrad,
and finishing up with law school. I also plan to continue to model all
throughout, hopefully expanding my horizons nationwide.
SMM: In your experience, How do you describe the Ohio Modeling scene?
Lady Phab: Ah, I would say its not a big market, however, we have a lot
of talented models here. And, as long as they are on their grind to make
it, that's all that matters.
SMM: If you could change one thing, what would it be?
Lady Phab: I know this sounds like a pagent answer, but seriously, with
the state our world is in, I would create a peace agreement of some
sort, that lasted forever. If only we could all learn to understand that
everyone is different, and that's what makes our world so awesome.
SMM: Reading your profile, I also see your a student, what's your major
& why?
Lady Phab: My tri-major is Political Science, English, and Business. I
want to graduate with a PHABULOUS degree, and go on to law school
and excel there too! I enjoy being successful, and I feel a full college
degree, will help me achieve that goal.
SMM: What music are you listening to? Top 5 songs?
Lady Phab: I don't have a top 5 songs, because I love so many genres of
music! R&B, Rock, Gospel, Pop, and Jazz. So in my mp3 player, it could
go from Aretha Franklin, to Hezekiah Walker, to Beyonce, then to Pink!
SMM: If anyone wants to book you for photoshoots or event hosting,
what's your info?
Lady Phab: Email me at phabulousmodel@gmail.com or check out my
myspace, www.myspace.com/ritalawyer

Machine Gun Kelly Interview
SMM: How did you start in the music
business?
MGK: When I was in middle school I was far
from the cool kid or whatever image I have
now. I was bummy from my clothes down to
my raps haha. In my school, if you didn't have
respect you had to earn it, and since I was
always a skinny boy I couldn't be the bully,
so I earned my respect another way - the mic.
SMM: What are some of your influences in music?
MGK: Hater's are my motivators, and telling me I can't do
something...that's biggest mistake you can make with me. People used
to tell me I sucked at rapping fast, I stumbled my words too much etc.
so I would try over and over until you could decipher each and every
syllable, and now I can't even do a feature verse without people telling
me to rap fast on it.
SMM: How has your music style changed since the beginning?
MGK: Oh my God I used to be so terrible...when your young and you
come into a game like this your mind is molded into a certain format, I
used to think that you HAD to be "gangster" or a "thug" to be a rapper
so my records reflected that but from the outside looking in, if you see
some 16 year old blonde hair blue eyed white boy rapping all this gun
talk and kill your mother etc. people are gonna look at you like "shut
your soft Justin Timberlake lookin ass up" - but over the past couple
years I've matured and my sound did as well, listen to my new music and
be abducted by greatness...
SMM: Name your top 5 Artist of all time?
MGK: The Temptations, Busta Rhymes, the OLD Ludacris, the OLD DMX,
and anyone else whose faught against conformity, keep fighting.
SMM: When did you first know that you had what it takes to do music?
MGK: When a man from the Nation of Islam heard me rapping, he and I
shook hands and told me he "hadn't shook a white man's hand for 8 years
but I show respect where respect is due" - that was some ill shit.
SMM: Can Machine Gun Kelly describe himself as a artist and Whats the
difference between him as a person?
MGK: I can't even answer that, I'm odd as fuck. I'm loud, obnoxious,
(pretty much a douchebag) but I love my fans and fans of music hard and
I love my fam even harder. I pick fights with the biggest people even
though I may take the loss, I go against the grain and say what people
are scared to say even though my management picks and chooses what
YOU as a reader may see but sit down and chop it with me, you'll find a
real ass kid whose humbled and blessed to be in this position.
SMM: Who are some of the artist that you have worked with?
MGK: Next question, the artist's I've worked with have their head in the
clouds, I'll answer this when they fall back down to Earth.
SMM: How do you feel the music scene has changed in Cleveland over
the last 3 years?
MGK: Went from Cap Rap, to Swag Rap, its now Hipster time, who
knows what shit will be next...
SMM: Whats your new single about?
MGK: It's called "I'm A Star" - it's a song for the underdog, a song for the
people that were just like me with the most absurd and unlikely dreams,
with the most hateful people trying to spite them, and with NOTHING
to their name but that dream, and its letting you know that you really
CAN take it to the top from the bottom.
SMM: Any last Shout outs?
MGK: I think on this question i'm just say ya'll know who you are, thank
ya'll for ridin with me through the bumpy roads and the smooth sailing -
world domination soon? Ok, sounds good for me too, let's do brunch...
SMM: If anyone wants to book Machine Gun Kelly, how do they do so?
MGK: for BOOKING hit up Ashleigh Veverka - ashlieghveverka@gmail.com
and for DJ/ARTIST DROPS hit up - slimgudz216@gmail.com

Slick Watts Interview
SMM: Where were you when you heard your first rap song?
Slick Watts: That’s a good question. I would have to say in my kitchen.
I couldn’t have been more than 7 or 8 yrs old. My older brother (R.I.P)
and a few of my cousins were making dance routines up. I want to say
the song was "Jam on it" I still like that song to this day! My younger
brother did a remix to it a few years back. I think we need to do
another one!
SMM: How long have you
been recording?
Slick Watts: I've been
recording on a serious level
since 2007. I can remember
being in high school and
college playing around on
different voice recorders.
But I really started taking it
serious in November of 2007. So it's almost been a full two years. It's
funny because my whole 1st mixtape with Mick Boogie was created in a
hotel room in Cleveland . I was working a job 12 hours a day 6 days a
week and then coming home and recording the album. I still use the
same equipment to this day!
SMM: Do you know the lyrics to the first rhyme you ever wrote?
Slick Watts: Haha. It had to be a poem. That's how I use to vent back in
the day. Whether it was a hard time I was going through in my life or I
was feeling a girl. That's how I would express it. So it had to be a poem.
I don't know what the words were though.
SMM: What part of Ohio are you from?
Slick Watts: Good Question. Allhiphop.com had me on there the other
day and said I was from Cleveland . People say I’m from Columbus . I'm
actually from the Ohio Valley . I'm from Martins Ferry a small town in
Eastern Ohio about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh . Shout out to all my
people from Cleveland and Columbus but I'm from the O.V. born and
raised.
SMM: What's the music scene like in your area?
Slick Watts: There are a lot of rappers in my area all the sudden. But
there are definitely some people grinding and putting it down. I think
by us being where we are everything’s kind of brand new. My team
Bittasweet is definitely at the forefront of the movement. I host a party
every Friday with Dj Suspence (Bittasweet DJ) at Club 304. We give
away a Kashi shoe or purse every Friday! Shout out to everybody down
home putting it down though. I just felt it was important to work from
the outside in. So that's why people think I’m from these other cities.
Shout out to WTRF news anchor Mike Anthony. They just did a story on
me back home!
SMM: What are your top Five songs of all time?
Slick Watts: Pac - You aint never had a friend like me, Jay Z - You must
love me, Eazy E -Real Muthaf***** G's, Too Short ft Rappin 4 tay -Never
talk down on a player, Pac - White Mans World
SMM: I've noticed you hit the mixtape circuit hard, what was your
method behind that?
Slick Watts: I just felt like until I put my album out that's the best way
to stay relevant. Shout out to DJ Blazita she always holds me down. I
had a song called (What You Gonna Listen To?) on her Natural Born Killaz
Mixtape. That track was produced by Vinny Idol so that’s a good look.
Shout out to all the DJ's who put my stuff on there tapes. My man DJ
Suspence Bittasweet's official DJ has kept my music in heavy rotation as
well. Major websites have shown me a lot of love. First and foremost
Rapmullet.com (Big Chew has always been supportive from day one)
Allhiphop.com (& Steve Raze) I just had the heater of the day on there.
Hiphopgame.com(& Brian) have posted a lot of my new videos. So I
think that all goes into staying on people's radar. It's not just about the
mixtapes but the websites and blogs as well
SMM: What was some of the best advice you received in the music
industry?
Slick Watts: Stay humble and work hard. Nobody wants to work with a
person who thinks they know everything and isn't willing to listen and
learn. I think that’s one thing that my manager and I do well. Another
thing I learned is to build relationships. I was fortunate enough to be
able to sit down wit Tone Capone and take some notes from him.
Professionalism can open a lot of doors for you. Never be afraid to ask
questions. I'm always learning, always trying to pick somebody’s brain
for information. Hopefully I’ll get to sit down wit Quincy from ITW soon
and learn from him as well.
SMM: Where and What was the best show you performed at?
Slick Watts: It was just the other day! I opened the Russ Parr Bus Tour
in Cincinnati . 2,000 kids at 8.A.M. That was definitely the best show I
performed at so far. A lot of more established artist performed as well
like Ace Hood, Yo Gotti, Letoya Luckett, and Hurricane Chris. Shout out
to my JL who sang the hook on my song "Yes we Can" The kids love the
track so I can't complain. I had a great time. Thanks to Radio One and
Ourstage.com for choosing me to open the show.
SMM: What current project are you working on?
Slick Watts: Right now it's all about the Street Album. I’m going to put
out in the near future. We're getting everything lined up from the
music, promotion and singles. I'm definitely trying to take the next step
with this album. I want to get Mick Boogie to host the album. We've got
a lot of dope production on the album as well. This will blow anything
else that I’ve done out the water. So stay tuned....
SMM: Any last words or shout outs?
Slick Watts: Yea .. Shout out to Starmusic group for taking the time to
interview me.. The whole Bittasweet Fam.. My manager Arica ... All my
NYC people hollar at me. I'll be in NYC next weekend. I’m nominated

well. Like I said the official website is www.wattsymusic.com Peep the

Roy Watters Interview
SMM: How did you start in music?
Roy: Originally it was just a creative outlet. After my mothers murder I
was very angry and hurt. I didnt have anyone that would hear my
problems but the pad would. It would listen without bias. I began
rapping at school and gathering crowds so around 17 i decided to take it
seriously
SMM: When did you write your first song?Roy: I was 12. Wrote it in my
room after studying nas. My format has much evolved since then.
Starmusic Media: How do you feel about the state of music?
Roy: If you would've asked me that question about 2 years ago I
would've had a more grumpy answer. For awhile I felt that alot of
"fronting" was going on. Also that commercialism was just ruining the
diverse and deep culture of hip-hop. I feel more recently that hip-hop
has taken a turn for the best with the emergence of new artist like Kid
Cudi, Asher Roth, and The Cool ids (just to name a few) that are cool
with being themselves and having fun and not worrying about
portraying an "image". Artist Like these also dont negate the roots and
essnce of hip-hop by balancing a more commercialish single with lyrical
tracks as well. They have definately cleared the lane for an artist like
myself. Big ups to Kanye also keeping it real.
SMM: Describe the first time you ever performed?
Roy: Wow...well the first time i perfomred I was with Buckeyecore
Records. It was a mainly rock label so the venue was an all rock venue. I
was nervous thinkin why would anyone here dig hip-hop. So when it
came time to perform I started out by saying "I'm diggin the mosh pit. I
see how yall get down but let me show you how my and my niggas do it"
I had the DJ drop "Chop,Chop,Twist,Twist" by DJ Screw and we did a lil
2-stepish dance we call choppin and screwin. They crowd loved it and
after that it was cookies and bubbles. Camera phones went up from all
the snowbunnies that were there to see "Before Their Eyes" (a christian
grunge band") and i felt like a star. Definately not the reaction I evere
expected from my first show.
SMM: What are your top 5 songs of all time?Roy: Roy_watters- iROCK naw
im just kidding on the real tho1.2pac - Old School2.Jay-z - Dead
Presidents3.Cormega - They Forced My Hand4.The Firm - Affirmative
Action5.Nas- Nas is Like Starmusic Media: What do want your style of
music to project?
Roy: My style is very versatile. I can be very lyrical or real simple and
fun. I want to project first positivity and uplift those that are in
situations i have been in. Also to educate and not least of to make
people have fun all at once. I encorporate alot of electronica and
techno elements in my music but never neglect keeping it hip-hop. I
mix the old with the new. I and use the metaphor of hip-hop like a tree
"You have to admire the leaves but respect the roots" meaning the new
leaves are beautiful and eye catching but dont forget the roots
underground in the dirt that allow them to be.
SMM: Any Last words or mentions?
Roy: Yea wanna send shouts out to all the other Cleveland artist doing
they thing such as Mz.Crazy Tee, Chevy Blue, MGK, Mr.44, my protage
Billy Da Kidd, Look forward to networkin and collabin the future. Big ups
to Big Heff and Johnny Mixxxx for makin me artist of the month. Look
out for my iROCK ep behind given out free at local stores and Midwest
Magic Vol.1 is on the way!!!

Melissa "Cha~Cha" Figueroa Interview
SMM: How did you get started recording?
Cha Cha: I actually started professionally
recording at 14 yrs of age. Like any
adolescent with a strong spiritual
background, I began in a Gospel girl
group called G.I.S. (God Is The Source).
I have had so many endeavors
after such til I finally made the
decision to go solo. I signed
to Visible Lyrics Record Company
back in January of 2007 to start my
recordings for my single EP "Click Grind"
SMM: Who are some of the artist that inspired you coming up?
Cha Cha: WOW! I give homage to some great ones: Whitney,Mariah,
Celine Dion,Faith Evans,Rachelle Ferrell,Nina Simone,Pattie, La
India,Marc Anthony, Micheal Jackson...just naming a few! lol
SMM: What was your inspiration in recording this album?
Cha Cha: MY LIFE!! I called it "Euphoria" because of my life experiences.
I've been through some highs & lows. We usually live in the euphoric
moment and disregard the consequences. I just wrote what my soul
spoke
during these times of my life.
SMM: What was the concept behind the single "Pressure"?
Cha Cha: Lol..ha ha...It's actually comical..was at dance
rehearsal..everyone was laughing because of some erotic dance move I
did..and Lollipop(My CEO) said I look like I was saying with my eyes
"I love it when My baby gives me pressure"
WE INSTANTLY looked at each other and said "Oooh, That would be HOT
song". I thought of none other than Platinum Producer Young Yonny to
do the track. All I did was sing the melody over the phone and he sent
me back a track in 1 day! It was on the money--and it was official!
"PRESSURE" baby!
SMM: How has the latin culture influenced your music?
Cha Cha: My music is sultry,fun-loving and direct to the point. I view my
culture as such. It's obvious in songs like "Click Grind" (which has a
Latin to Jamaica isle feel),"Papi"(which is pretty sultry & direct) and
even in the song "Waiting". All together these are all elements of me.
SMM: Do you get involved in a lot of latin community events?
Cha Cha: I have always since my younger years and still do til this day
stay active in My community and especially with youth. I'm actually
doing a fundraiser in September for The Hispanic UMADAOP Youth
Center on the west side of Cleveland where I grew up!
SMM: What are your top 5 artists of all time?
Cha Cha: Celine Dion,Alicia Keys,Janet Jackson,Micheal Jackson & Marc
Anthony. These Icons not only have affected the world thru music but
also by their humanitarian efforts. I see myself being blessed to do the
same.
SMM: Tell us how the concept of the video came for pressure?
Cha Cha: Well the song kinda actually spoke for itself as far as which way
I wanted to go. But me and my label met with a couple videographers to
see who would come with the best ideas that fit what I had in mind.
Model
Charity Luv suggested numerous times that we check out David Velo
Stewart of Trillvision. And I'm so glad we did because we totally
connected on what I wanted to portray... sexy, sensual, yet tasteful. I
wanted to leave something to the imagination and Trillvision captured
that totally.
SMM: Any last words or shout outs?
Cha Cha: Dreams are made to be VISIBLE!! I want to thank All those who
helped made that a reality for me. You know who you are! My Fans--Your
support, love and wisdom will be cherished in my heart forever.
SMM: If someone wants to check out your music or book you for a
